Our third Ride Out this year was a resounding success, and we’d like to say thank you to all of the bikers who took part, and to all of our festival guests, marshalls, volunteers and contributors.
Over 200 bikers and their pillions took part this year, on what was a beautiful sunny day for the route around Bristol. We would like to give special thanks to the Avon and Somerset Police Community Trust for giving a generous grant to GWAAC from their Road Safety Fund. Ride4GWAAC aims to bring together organisations across the region to promote road safety, and the support we have received from the Avon and Somerset Police is very much appreciated.
We had magnificent music from Ride the Edge and Tongue & Groove, and were thoroughly entertained by the Tigers as they used their stunt bicycles to jump over our GWAAC branded cars and Critical Care Bear Charlie! So a huge thank you to them.
Thanks also goes to Bristol Advanced Motorcyclists, Freewheelers, Riders and the Great Western Chapter for all of their fun and interesting stalls.
The entertainment didn’t end there with other kid-friendly activities on offer. Thanks to Sand Art Kids Entertainment and Ducati Be Wiser.
Thanks also goes to those who fed us! Delicious Diner, StrEat Pizza, Mmm! Coffee and Savs Super Whippy ice cream provided us with deliciousness throughout the afternoon.
We will be adding photos to the Gallery in due course.
