Things are hotting up here in the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity office as we prepare for our third annual Ride Out event – Ride4GWAAC – happening this Sunday!
The route has been set, the music booked and the food stalls are ready to go! But there’s still time to get your ticket to join us for what is set to be a great day out. Tickets will also be available at the gate on the day.
We’ve included a handy outline below for all those of you who’ve got your ticket already:
Address: St Mary’s Old Boys Rugby Football Club, Northwood Park, Trench Lane, Almondsbury, Bristol BS36 1RY
Timings: Registration is from 8.30 am. First riders to depart at 10 am.
Entertainment starts at 12 noon with party-loving rock and pop band Ride the Edge. The Tigers display is at 1 pm; Our second band, Tongue & Groove play from 1:45 pm. We’re also expecting a special fly-in from our GWAAC helicopter during the afternoon.

Stall holders – We have an array of fun and educational stall-holders including CPR demos from our Great Western Heart Starters; Bristol Advanced Motorcyclists; Freewheelers; Riders; and the Great Western Chapter
Activities – Our festival has a range of kid-friendly activities including Sand Art Kids Entertainment; fairground rides; Ducati Be Wiser; bouncy castle. The build-up to the World Cup final will also be shown inside the club house.
Bands – Ride the Edge; Tongue & Groove
Food – Delicious Diner; StrEat Pizza; Mmm! Coffee; Savs Super Whippy ice cream; there is also a fully licensed bar on site
